Highland Games Cancelled

The 50th Lesmahagow Highland Games (Scheduled for 19th June 2010) have been cancelled due to lack of funds. There will still be some events held in the form of a Gala Day;
10.30amThe float procession will depart from the Ambius car park, via Balgray Rd, Bankhead Rd, Monksknowe, Priory Rd, Eastwood Drive, Auldton Drive.
11.00am The Crowning Ceremony will take place at the Miner's Welfare, Kelso Rd.
11.30am Chieftain's parade to the playing fields behind Miners Welfare. via Kelso Ave, Balgray Rd & Briarbank followed by the Chieftain's Address which will open Lesmahagow Gala Day.
7.30pm - Midnight. Family Ceilidh at Lesmahagow Miners Welfare.
