PROTEST GATHERING FRIDAY 5 DEC 11am
The changes being made to the junction with Abbeygreen have caused farmers to raise serious safety concerns with South Lanarkshire Council, who have advised that they’ll monitor traffic after the changes are completed.
This has alarmed the farming community, and others, who believe urgent action is needed if accidents are to be avoided. A protest gathering is planned for Friday December 5 at 11am to try and bring home the need for urgent action. All concerned villagers should attend.
